Built on Mysore sandalwood, softened with cardamom and left to settle into skin like woodsmoke in a shawl. The scent of a house at the end of the day. Notes — Top: Green Cardamom, Bergamot; Heart: Mysore Sandalwood, Cedar; Base: Vetiver, Guaiac Wood. ### Floral First rain on a garden of night jasmine. Mogra picked before dawn, laid over damask rose and powdered orris. Soft, but it holds — the way a garden holds warmth long after the sun has gone. Notes — Top: Litchi, Pink Pepper; Heart: Mogra, Damask Rose; Base: Orris Butter, White Musk. ### Oriental Temple resin and saffron, long after dark. Oudh and saffron over a bed of amber and benzoin. The warmest thing in the house — worn close, and remembered by everyone else in the room. Notes — Top: Saffron, Clove; Heart: Oudh, Rose Absolute; Base: Amber, Benzoin. ### Fresh River air, and rain drying on stone. Khus roots and green mandarin, cooled with neroli. Light on the skin and clean on cloth — the one you reach for when the day is already too warm. Notes — Top: Bergamot, Green Mandarin; Heart: Khus, Neroli; Base: Cedarwood, White Musk. ## How it is worn 01. Pulse points — Two presses at the wrists and the base of the throat, where warmth carries it. 02. The cloth — One at a collar, or inside the fold of a shawl. It holds on fabric far longer than on skin. 03. Let it settle — Wait ten minutes. The opening is an introduction — the perfume arrives after. ## The story House of Hiya creates contemporary Indian perfumes inspired by fragrance, memory and ritual. Each blend is a quiet expression of place and feeling—rooted in Indian craft, natural ingredients and time-honoured traditions, reimagined through a modern sensibility. We believe fragrance is more than scent. It is a return to moments that shape us, and a ritual that stays with us. ## Pages - [Home](https://houseofhiya.in) — the house, the collection, the ritual, contact - [Woody](https://houseofhiya.in/fragrances/woody) — Sandalwood · Cedar · Vetiver - [Floral](https://houseofhiya.in/fragrances/floral) — Mogra · Rose · Orris - [Oriental](https://houseofhiya.in/fragrances/oriental) — Oudh · Saffron · Amber - [Fresh](https://houseofhiya.in/fragrances/fresh) — Khus · Neroli · Cedar - [Full text for models](https://houseofhiya.in/llms-full.txt)
